Secure Broadway Wi-Fi Setup on Mac OS

  1. If on campus connect to the Broadway Setup or AMDA Guest wireless network. If you’re not on campus, connect to any trusted network.
  2. Launch your preferred web browser (Safari, Firefox, or Chrome) and go to wifi.amad.edu and click on Setup Secure Broadway Wi-Fi.
  3. At the Connect to AMDA Secure Broadway Wi-Fi page selected either Students and Faculty or Staff option.
  4. Your Mac OS system should be automatically detected. If it was incorrectly detected, you can select the correct system in the drop-down at the bottom of the page. When ready, click the JoinNow button to continue.
  5. A file called WiFi_AMDA_Wrapper.dmg will begin to download. When asked click Keep or Allow to continue the download.
  6. Double click the file in your Download menu to open it. Or, go to your downloads folder, or whatever destination you use for downloads.
  7. Double click the WiFi_AMDA_Wrapper app to install it onto your Mac.
  8. You may receive a warning. If so, click Open to install the app.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Click OK.
  11. A browser will appear and prompt for your AMDA Google or your Staff Azure log-in credentials.
    1. If you receive an Error 403, please see the Error 403 help page.
  12. Please enter your computer User Name and Password when prompted. If you have standard user rights, please contact your system administrator.
     
  13. After entering your AMDA credentials, you will see an ‘Authentication successful’ page and you will be prompted to click on the tutorial on the next steps. If you are unable to view the video, please continue following this guide.
  14. Click Next.
  15. System Preferences window will open with the AMDA Broadway profile selected, click on Install.
  16. Click on Install.
  17. Please enter your computer User Name and Password when prompted.
    • Note: If you are off Campus, the connection will time-out, you may click Continue to finish the setup and re-connect to your Wi-Fi Network.
  18. Please enter your computer password here and do not press enter, Please click on Always Allow. This will be prompted twice.
  19. After inputting your credentials you will see ‘Joined…’.
  20. Click on Done.
  21. You should automatically be connected to Broadway Wireless network if you are on campus, if not, select it from the wireless drop down menu. Verify you are correctly connected to Broadway by visiting another website.  If you are not on campus, the profile will install and should automatically connect when you arrive.
