Faculty Zoom in Canvas
Your course comes with Zoom enabled. When you click on the Zoom tab in the Course Navigation for the first time, you may be required to Authenticate using your AMDA Gmail account. If you have trouble authenticating, please contact the AMDA Helpdesk

How to Create a Reoccurring Class Zoom Meeting
Once you have authenticated, you will see the standard Zoom interface embedded into Canvas.
- Click on Schedule a New Meeting.
- Enter the general meeting details.
- Topic – a name for the meeting.
- Description – a description for the meeting.
- When – the start date and time for the meeting.
- Duration – the length of the zoom meeting.
- Time Zone – what time zone the meeting will be set for.
