Self-service password reset & New Password Setup
Forgot your password or setting up your new Student Account? AMDA’s Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) tool is here to help you regain access swiftly.
For Staff – You must have your MFA setup before using this tool.
Steps to Reset Your Password or Setup new Password
- Navigate to: https://aka.ms/sspr
- Enter: Your AMDA email address and complete the captcha.
- Select: “I forgot my password.”
- Verify: Choose a recovery method and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Set New Password: Enter and confirm your new password.
- Log back into your Account.
Keep Your Recovery Info Up to Date
Keeping your recovery information up to date ensures you can reset your own password when needed. Be sure to update it if you get a new phone or change your personal email address. You may update anytime here: https://aka.ms/ssprsetup

Password Requirements
Our password requires are as follows:
- Must be at least 8 characters long
- Must include at least one capital letter
- Must include at lease one character
- Must not contain parts of your username
- Must not match your previous two passwords
- Must not be a commonly used or easily guessable password
